Reflections on Convergence Part V

TONIGHT:We explore the relationship between our lead characters and the ongoing development of the project Of Crimson Indigo: Convergence.

RACE TANNER™, 35, HUMAN MALE, fits the hero type, but not our lead hero. He thinks he’s invincible. Has a good head of hair and believes it makes him attractive to the opposite sex. Although he can be arrogant at times, he’s actually sentimental, especially when he feels threatened by overwhelming odds or a lover’s quarrel. Race also believes that eyes are the windows to the soul and can reveal the individual’s deepest secrets when angered, loved or intoxicated. He hopes to one day find what he is looking for, because he has no idea what it is he’s supposed to find to solve the world’s problems on his own, he has to ask for help, but only as a last resort.

Race believes the world is there for the taking but has no idea of how to attain its worth other than to simply take what he wants; however, his own conviction and childhood memories of being a boulevard ragamuffin and pickpocket on the streets of Wilburton Macula keeps him at bay. Nevertheless, he has attained some status as a corporate runner in the service of the Industries, and hopes that the next job will be the one that brings him that big score. Little does he know that he has a lot to learn before even the simplest of life’s pleasures are attainable!Race needs to find his way in life, even if it gets him killed. He needs to succeed; it’s the single most important force driving him through life. He is constantly at odds with the universe, yet he still sees the light at the end of the tunnel and purposefully heads off anything that gets in his way. Now, on a desolate world, where the past, present and future all coexist, he’s faced with the one thing capable of helping him succeed or fail and the future of his own universe hangs in the balance.

Emotionally, Race is transfixed on impressing Olivia no matter the cost, he just has a hard time getting past his ego, which is what he unconsciously needs to overcome in order to live a good life. It’s required if he’s going to get over this hump and find his way to actually loving someone beside himself. However, Race pines for Olivia, his lust out reaches his sincerity and consciously he has trouble showing his true emotional attachment to her and the outward need he longs for with her. It’s not that is only goal is to get laid, its just part of his make up. He desires to be the person she wants but has no idea how to attain God’s approval with her, yet he keeps trying, and that only sends him into a tailspin when he gets shot down, crashes and burns due to Olivia’s constant rejection of his adolescent behavior. Nevertheless,Race has to do the right thing. No matter what, he has to find a way to save the day, and perhaps the damsel in distress.

As a matter if fact,Race has no fucking idea that Olivia loves him, always has, always will. He’s just too stupid to realize it. However, every day brings him a little closer to knocking down his walls, which in turn may one day chip away at his perception of reality. Nonetheless, he is, who he is, and his current mission is bound to be an experience filled with never imagined wonders, relationships and facts beyond his comprehension. It’s a good thing he’s the center of his own universe, otherwise he just may find his way into a whole new realm of existence. And, although he can be an arrogant son of a bitch, he can be helpful at times. He’s even been known to play the superior, cynical, sloth that is eager to override the letter of the day and do what he wants, regardless of the impact on the others or the mission. However, as a rule, Race is a team player, so long as it gets him the big chair at the front of the hall. He is reliable, but compulsive. The only thing he’s ever been dishonest about is his own feelings. He’s not what one might consider lazy, or crazy, he is however, a bit funny, and genuinely a workaholic. The mission isn’t done till the paperwork is finished so-to-speak, and he’s the leader of the pack.

Race is definitely an anxiety-ridden person, but fear of the unknown isn’t a part of his vocabulary. He knows when others are worried and tries to curve their depression. He genuinely loves what he does and attempts to show compassion for others when it doesn’t go against his personality. He was orphaned at the age of ten when his father was killed during a dockside accident that took the life of most of the dockworkers on Wilburton Macula. His mother died during childbirth and Race has never forgiven himself for causing her death. It’s a conflict he’s dealt with to no avail all of his life. The loss of his father only further triggered his lack of self-esteem, and Race considers his newfound freedom given rather than earned. He’s skeptical and ambitious, yet lacks the confidence in his decisions unless all the facts line up. He has never known true love, even though Olivia is the closest thing he has ever come to in the realm of relationships, it remains a far cry from being actual romance. His embattled spirit must come first and he puts himself on the frontlines, not as a heroic gesture, but rather as a protective umbrella around those he cares for, especially Olivia. More important, Race has no idea of how to contain or overcome his loveless life, his need for companionship beyond his need for self-indulgence, yet above all else, his deepest unresolved emotion is forgiveness. He has not yet discovered the true meaning of compassion, love and vulnerability. His lack of childhood confidence and self-esteem has left him wounded in the ways of the world, and from time to time, he unwittingly displays his imperfections.

Beyond life itself, Race needs to resolve his physical discomfort when it comes to being a man, simple, kind, loving and in need of companionship. At times this lack of manly maintenance renders itself to the eventual confrontation he so desires, but rarely constitutes, in fact, it’s often the result of his self indulgence that forms the head of the line in this evening’s who’s who of those about to kick his ass. There is one, however, that haunts his memory, forming an outrageous character flaw that can only be hosted by his eternal rival, partner and blessed faction amidst those he calls his closest friends.  He is definitely in love with Olivia, and with no further ado, stands in Race’s way to Olivia’s heart.

Race doesn’t trust the world or those in it. He’s always on guard, ready for a fight … the result of growing up on the streets after the death of his father. He doesn’t trust himself to be in love even though he actually is. He just doesn’t know it. It eats at him. He has to judge others by his own convictions, not reason. What is missing or unresolved from Race’s past is self-knowledge of his place in the world. He feels responsible for his mother’s death and that is something he has not rectified with either his mother or his father. The true ghost is his past … a loss and despair that remains unresolved, standing in his path to freedom from the past and the love of his life.

His future depends upon him coming to grips with his past and getting beyond the unrelenting need for self sacrifice and inner strength of becoming who he needs to be in order to save both himself and the girl he loves, not for lack of courage but rather understanding of his place in the world. He believes, but needs to rectify the past. He is a connoisseur of fine wines, he loves grapes, real food and good conversation, especially when he kind of knows what he’s talking about. He doesn’t like mirrors; they remind him of what flaws he keeps to himself. Race is aware, and awake, loves wherever he is at the moment, but still wishes for someplace else. He’s a lover of fruits, hates vegetables, longs for a taste of home, but finds no time to visit his old stomping ground, even though he lives there from time to time. Amidst his personal favorites: Speed. Race loves the feeling of exhilaration, not the drug. He enjoys the pleasures of wherever he might be, and usually can find his way to the local pub, even if his cold, foamy beverage is served in a dirty glass.

JAMES BASTIAN™,on the other hand, is 33, Human Male, charming to the end. He loves the act of being charismatic, even enchanting. Nevertheless, he’s the first one to seek out confrontation, be it ego or just plain stupidity; James is more likely to start a fight than end it. He is a loner in some ways. He likes his private time, but does nothing with it. Being alone doesn’t bother him unless he gets bored with himself.  He has a tendency to keep himself busy and has no real vice for the art of relaxation. He is his own man, not that he realizes what that means exactly. As a rule James lives by the issue, whatever it is at the moment. He’s honest to a bone, and not able to tell a lie and make it believable, so he uses it to his advantage, tricking those he needs to with the truth of the matter rather than the evidence of whatever reality actually presents him with the facts. He’s a con artist at heart, and quickly can turn a bad situation into an adventure with a promising outcome. James has a hard time hiding his feelings, but in the case of Olivia, he plays the victim whenever confronted with the attraction between Olivia and Race. Anything to keep them from realizing they’re in love with one another. Still, he finds amusement in taxing their relationship and is always on the prowl for a more efficient way to get Olivia’s attention.

James believes he is the center of attention, and rightly so, he sees the world as his playground, free for the taking and he’s efficient at keeping others at bay while he reaps the rewards. However, James isn’t all “Self-sacrifice and give me, give me, give me; I desire it, deserve it and it’s mine.” He’s on a path to self-redemption even if it going to kill him. Olivia is his goal and rightly so, he has a crush on her, and is more than willing to share it with Race.

James is our story’s Antagonist. He’s a pain in the ass! Simple. He’s everything Race is not, and that makes for more than enough conflict in Race’s life. By sheer will, James stands in Race’s way with Olivia, the mission, the conquest of another civilization, even what’s for lunch, yet, there is one action he fails to take, and that’s being true to his own intentions. Emotionally James is an infant. He has no idea how to make amends with those around him, and being sorry isn’t in his vocabulary. He simply doesn’t understand the concept; it is all or nothing; win, lose or draw.  He needs to learn from his mistakes, however, if you ask him, he’s never made a mistake, just miss calculations that lead to an unfavorable outcome.  Above all, he needs to understand what love is, and what it has to do with happiness and pain. It’s all about conquest. He’s a warrior at heart, and an emotional train wreck looking for a place to happen. Consciously, he manages to stay afloat even if he is emotionally detached and longing for something other than whatever objective is immediately in front of him.  Above all else, he wants to be loved, or at least admired. He has only one goal in life, and that is to succeed at whatever his heart desires.

James loves tormenting Race, yet he’s his right hand when he needs to be. He’s loyal to a point and is ready to stand up against whatever foe presents it self. After all, he’s part of the team, and off world exploration is anything if not dangerous.

James is limited only by his perception of right and wrong. He is definitely arrogant, and although he can sometimes actually be helpful, he will only lend a hand if it is in his own best interest and makes him seem superior to the others. And yes, he can be cynical, especially if it puts him in a place were it makes him eager to help others, even if he’s not. James is anything but reliable, even though he isn’t dishonest, he has a way of making it seem that way.  Every bone in his body has a moment to be lazy, crazy, and he is always trying to be funny.

James doesn’t like being called Jim, is compulsive at best, but only when it suits the situation. At best, he’s a non-workaholic, and will find anything else to keep himself busy. In fact, he will go out of his way to make excuses why he’s not up for whatever it is that needs done. They only way he will help is if Olivia puts the screws to him using her influence to get whatever it is she needs from him. His only fears the unknown; it depresses him … he doesn’t like not being in control. Yes, he’s a control freak. Especially in matters of love, and at times he has less compassion than a rock. However, he’s not a masochists or a psychological bat shit crazy asshole either. He has limits. Just doesn’t use them.

James origins refers to him being a member of birth group 2-4-4-7, an enlisted clone, with authorization for Project OR567L with enhanced memory and living light technology – his category: Human with soul actuate: A Living Machine. Point of Origin: Earth, cat one; lunar colony with Mars distribution. Revitalized. Upgraded to Mod 6. FOR MILITARY USE ONLY – Now there’s an oxymoronic statement if I ever heard one. Where else would you use such a creature, or man, human, clone?  And why not … he was created for off world exploration. Assigned to an Industries mining operation set for Tanis, a world in the Enay System: SOL. Third planet from the Sun. Fifth Universe, dimension 3. He was and is a highly decorated officer in the Trithen Industries elite troop of ITOL WARRIORS, and received the astute technologist upgrade, which was added after his first mission success. Assigned to terraforming operations with Race Tanner and Olivia Sutton, his memory wipe was completed prior to assignment. Tactical reconnaissance actuation remains.

James is to be considered hostile if memory cloak is infiltrated or provoked – he was reprogrammed to original specs for research and development, off world mining consortium transit authority authorization: Assignment – Rampian expedition. SOL: Enay System, Catalog anomaly. Multiple universe connection: Approved for wave corridor travel, and was given a Human and alien contact upgrade with memory package. His Records remain CLASSIFIED.

James definitely hasunresolved emotional issues. All references to human contact, love, hate, jealousy, lust, not programmed, allowing self-activation and learning curve. He’s a child with childhood issues on mission in a human killing machine body, reprogrammed to be docile unless provoked or attacked.

James doesn’t know where he belongs, or who he really is. He’s at odds with himself and his bio programing, his memories and conflicting retentions. He’s a hot mess. He needs to resolve conflict physically, but doesn’t know quite how to reason his way out of his situation. His external triggers are anything he doesn’t understand, including his place on the crew. Anything that stands in his way is suspect. He wants to be first and important, so he sees Race as a potential adversary, especially with Olivia. He doesn’t know how to fit in, or how to learn to fit in. He wants to be more than he is, and is trying to figure out what that means. He wants to love, but doesn’t know how to other than imitating others and for this reason, Olivia is of interest. What is missing or unresolved from his past simply comes down to everything. Especially, the memory of other lifetimes he can’t seem to place in context. He sees himself as incomplete, and only a partial man, which tends to irritate him. He knows there’s something missing from his life he just can’t put his finger on it.Simply –the crew’s Safety must come first. Although he doesn’t understand why: It’s not in his makeup to put others first.

His most overwhelming trait is that he is a fidget, and hefidgets. He’s nervously compulsive to the point of being annoying … he loves real meat and the thrill of the hunt. Loves challenges. Some of his personal favorites include all types of music, chocolate, hot women and, of course, alcohol infused anything.

NEXT TIME: We discuss the Magnificent Machines of the ITOL Warriors and the ancient battles fought by humanity in the Human Wars, the reptilian blue skin aliens known as the Skellons and the ancient enemy of life itself.

REFLECTIONS ON A TIME WHEN THE UNIVERSE WAS YOUNG, AND THE LIGHT WAS UPON US ALL ... WELCOME TO THE CONVERGENCE PART V

Previously: Reflections continues into uncharted territory as the saga undergoes a revision that splinters from the saga to create an all new structure in a groundbreaking revelation that will lay the ground work for Of Crimson Indigo: Convergence.

As the saga grew in scope, it simplified into a tangible story laying the groundwork for a love story between characters that possessed unique abilities due to the fusion of lifetimes, knowledge and an uncanny reality crossing ability that made the entire saga reach a singularity, whereby the concept of Crimson Indigo became the story of one person's adventures in parallel existences that translated into different life experiences. Of Crimson Indigo grew up in the mark of a heartbeat and the character of Olivia Sutton was born.

Olivia Sutton became with no uncertain force of nature the central character of the entire point of origin. She was Krydal Starr, Jake Ramious, Nilana Keri, Samuel Nomad, and a host of other characters all rolled into one. And, as Olivia Sutton took shape, she solidified the personification of woman capable of driving the story forward, across a temporal abyss, multiple lifetimes, male and female incarnations, regardless of what the story called for... a hero.

At the same time she became her own worst nightmare, the personification of both good and evil, hero and villain, and with every turn, a new outcome could present itself. The driving force of the Crimson Indigo Saga became the possibility of a recurrence –– a memory, or déjà vu. The actions in one universe played out in another, and fragments of one adventure affected another version of the lead character. She could be in two places or a hundred at the same time. So we narrowed it to three, the past, present and future. Otherwise, what came before would happen again, over and over again. This allowed the character to review the sum of her actions in this and previous existences, as viewed upon as a means of deciding their fate in some future state of affairs or existences.

The only aspect of the main character missing was the time travel element. How to get from the future to the past, or from the past to the present, and in what universe? The human element complicated the matter as well. Human beings have a cap on the previous life experience, making the current lifetime a learning experience. In essence the world is a classroom, and the participants have no idea who they are, or who they were at some other point in time. And, to further complicate the matter, the factions of alternate existences, the soul, spirit, higher self –– multiple bodies on multiple planes of existence needed to be addressed.  One future replacing another, whether manmade or fabricated by some higher source, code or ultimate intelligence needed to be rectified. Our hero had to be a multidimensional being.  But how and why remained a mystery.

Next time: Reflections will address the aspects of creating a hero who had none of the abilities of a god, but clearly had the potential to flirt with the possibilities, and use her faculties, skills and expertise to venture beyond the veil of both good and evil, to face her own demons and resurrect that part of her needed to overcome both the adversary within and the one she faced physically. Only then would our hero master the journey, learn from her mistakes, and find new existence from the ashes of the old.

Previously:  Reflections continues to explore the revolutionary SODIN Time Step Core, exploring this scientific basis for wave corridor propulsion technology, while introducing an entirely new means of high-speed transportation throughout the galaxy, which would allow transit across the space-time boundary separating the layers of the universe and the temporal wave corridor connecting the multiverse, the creator of machine kind and a temporal war across the threshold of one existence that could cause the demise of both species of humanity.

With the release Of Crimson Indigo: Points of Origin, Tales of the Master-builders, and Samuel Nomad's New America, the concept behind the SODIN Time Step Core™ expanded to envelop the idea of worlds being linked by the temporal gateway between the past, present and future, which allowed for the possibilities of adding the Industries manipulation of the timeline of a backwater planet at the heart of  an area of space know as the Border Region...

As the corporate entity developed in the adversarial body plaguing the worlds under Industry rule, the aspects of the TSC's temporal convergence continued to develop in size and scope until the idea blossomed from a space based research laboratory to a hidden laboratory hidden within the great machine lodged at the core of a planetary body. The powder keg  fuse was suddenly lit, and the reality of the planet-sized world machine became the basis for the interaction in the Of Crimson Indigo: Points of Origin novel, on which wave corridor propulsion technology was first introduced during the early outlines of the Crimson Indigo saga. Considering the importance of an ancient technology, lead to the creation of Haulers Incorporated™, Vex Redford™ and Rooka Trent™ it was important to introduce a young version of Jake Ramious in an alternate reality, before his blending with the Crimson assassin took place in a third spinoff storyline tangent.

Haulers Incorporated and the Eye of Armageddon introduced the Dragon Wing Hauler, which used an entirely new means of high-speed multi-phasic transit  throughout the galaxy, hence the company's slogan became "Throughout time, across the Universe..." The saga would eventually break the space-time boundary separating the layers of the universe and the temporal wave corridor connecting the multiverse.

However, as Crimson Indigo continued to develop, the driving force behind Haulers Incorporated gave birth to yet another tangent... one that was destined to pave the way for the concept of the Crimson Indigo Saga to congeal into what will become the threshold of a multidimensional extravaganza whose heart and soul blends lives, alternate realities, ancient civilizations and the very essence of human life into a simple storyline of boy meets girl, falls in love, and comes face to face with the creator of machine kind at the edge of the known universe, where mankind wages a temporal war across the threshold of one existence into another. It's a course that could cause the demise of two species of humanity.

NEXT TIME: Reflections continues into uncharted territory as the saga undergoes a revision that splinters from the saga to create an all new structure in a groundbreaking revelation that will lay the ground work for Of Crimson Indigo: Convergence.

Previously: Reflections continues with a new incarnation of our heroes and villains, which would allow the project to pave a new adventure destined to rise from the ashes of everything that came before. This new property, would in principle lay the groundwork for the new novel series dedicated to the backstory of a universe within a universe, and the building blocks of the mysterious world of SODIN.

Leaving California for the fringes of a new adventure, one door closing another opening, the next decade would bring about  a revision in both the scope of the saga and the birth of a new corporate entity. But the saga needed a new hook, something that could drive the story through a world where anything seemed possible. Suddenly, the scope of the project blossomed into a nine-headed monster with intertwining tangents that spun off into different storylines of their own. Samuel Nomad's New America and Of Crimson Indigo: Tales of the Master-builders further developed the backstory, introducing the concept of a planet size machine housing the failed project of the five galactic corporations responsible for creating an area of space which would become known as the Triad Abyss™, the birthplace of the alternate reality connecting the threshold between universes, while exposing the past, present and future of both Crimson and Indigo to competing realities.

The concept of the Industries' Temporal Convergence Laboratory was introduced, and the concept of one futures with two pasts exploded into the encapsulation of the multiverse theory, with multiple outcomes for every decision the characters chose. What happened in one universe, didn't necessarily happen in the other and the concept of temporal distortion fields were introduced to explain the concept of age differences, blended characters and separate lifetime experiences: One universe devouring the other, within the confines of the interconnecting corridor thresholds between universes. As a result the concept of the failed experiment never being able to be shut down fit the bill for the threshold of temporal convergence. To this day, the course of the story has allowed for some sort of passage between the past, present and future within the connected universes.

With the launch of Fausclan Entertainment, LLC the first novel venture into the saga of Crimson Indigo launched worldwide with Of Crimson Indigo: Points of Origin introducing the reader to the concept of  the UCP (Universe Creation Project) and SODIN, (Secure Off-world Divergence Interchange Nexus), and the proposed site of the Industries Time Step Core™ experimental facility.

Reviews, although limited by the aspects of small press, showed the readership's acceptance of the tale with a compelling positive response.

NEXT TIME: Reflections continues to explore the revolutionary SODIN Time Step Core, exploring this scientific basis for wave corridor propulsion technology, while introducing an entirely new means of high-speed transportation throughout the galaxy, which would allow transit across the space-time boundary separating the layers of the universe and the temporal wave corridor connecting the multiverse, the creator of machine kind and a temporal war across the threshold of one existence that could cause the demise of both species of humanity.

REFLECTIONS ON A TIME WHEN THE UNIVERSE WAS YOUNG, AND THE LIGHT WAS UPON US ALL ... WELCOME TO THE CONVERGENCE PART II

Previously... reflections continues with a new twist, and a resurrection that rekindled a new incarnation of the project that would breathe life into the property, and in essence, an entirely new reality as the foundation of an adventure that would take another turn, and once again cross that threshold in a ground breaking direction ... The Living Machine Chronicles

During the Britton Productions era, with the release of Brand Name Comics and Reoccurring Images imprints, Future Course™ Issue 1 hit the Direct Market through twenty-two distributors worldwide. This time, the idea was to look at the backstory through the eyes of two small living machine characters, which in later editions leading to the creation of the Of Crimson Indigo Saga would introduce a race of TRODS™ (Tandem Remote Operations Directive Specialists)  who's sole purpose in life was to conduct a search for the creator of machine kind. Hence, the birth of the living machine™ concept took root, clearing the way for the concept of Living Light technology™ and the creation of a ground breaking aspect of the overall saga.

Alien Landscapes ™ screenplay rewrites proceeded with several drafts, introducing a new wave of characters introducing the idea of symbiont/host relationships, whereby the idea of corporate runners, bounty hunter/Assassin blended temporal agents could function as time traveling operatives for the five major corporate entities that maintained an iron-fist grip on the known universe, subjugating entire worlds under industry rule.

As Alien Landscapes developed, the idea of dimensional travel was introduced into the storyline, and the temporal wave corridor harbored the idea of multiple universe/multiple incarnation prospective introduced through the escapades of twin sisters, separated by both time and space as well as universes. Alien Landscapes also introduced the concept of the ITOL, a space faring militaristic entity of warriors that policed the temporal wave corridor travelers which lead to the creation of the public transit system for inter-dimensional travel, and the concept of a bloodhound used to remove unwarranted travelers from the transit system.

The backstory for the characters of Jake Ramious™ and Krydal Starr™ took shape, and the first inkling of Crimson and Indigo began to reveal itself. However, at this point both characters had little connection or resemblance to the personification of the inevitable incarnation that the blending would eventually produce in the characterization of Crimson Indigo.

NEXT TIME: Reflections continues with a new incarnation of our heroes, and villains which would allow the project to pave a new adventure destined to rise from the ashes of everything that came before. This new property, would in principle lay the groundwork for the new novel series dedicated to the backstory of a universe within a universe, and the building blocks of the mysterious world of SODIN.

Welcome to the Convergence ... Gateway to the worlds of Author Grant Fausey's Novel Series: Of Crimson Indigo and the developing vision of a series for television.

Crimson and Indigo are two young, star-crossed lovers whose journey has propelled them from one existence to another-across multiple lifetimes and alternate realities to a place where their love may survive. But now, with both near the end of their existence on a world where the past, present, and future coexists, the two temporal travelers must forge a new relationship with one another in the fever of a budding love affair that may-well consume both of them.
For the assassin, Crimson, however, the past suddenly no longer has any meaning. Stripped away, leaving the once torrid love affair  burning within her soul nothing more than a fleeting memory of a flame of the heart. Yet, she is strangely drawn to a formidable bounty hunter, whom she finds herself marooned with on a mysterious world at the threshold of a spatial rift where she is taunted by memories of her previous existence, and the probability of losing the one thread of her life capable of rekindling her love for the torcheres soul of Indigo, the bounty hunter against the irritable prospect of being consumed by the littoral breathtaking metamorphosis of a universe in the midst of a temporal convergence, the young lovers must confront their own demons like pawns in some proverbial game of chess and find a way to restore the future, before their future existence is erased from history, forever...

And so goes the original novel of the Crimson Indigo Saga, entitled Of Crimson Indigo: Points of Origin. Available now from amazon.com and other fine bookstores. Now on to reflections of a distant past...

The original concept for Of Crimson Indigo: Points of Origin was to tell a ten part story that had no beginning or ending, only the sum of it's parts. It was to be an intricate look at the human condition, how reality shapes our perception of what is real and what is make believe. It was to be multi-generation, hence giving it the span of multiple lifetimes for the events of the saga to come to fruition and draw in logical conclusions to the end points of the story, but something changed mid-stream. A new element was born that altered the course of the project laying the ground work for something unbelievably formidable in size and shape –– what if the story wasn't just multigenerational, but rather multiple individual lifetimes in stature. Future Course was born, and a single comic book was released exploring the aspects of a minor character in the story. But the demise of the company prevented any further development of the project and the first rendition of the project was scrapped until a second incarnation of Future Course took shape in the spring of new era.  Alien Landscapes and Marauders of the Black Sun hit the drawing board as perspective feature film projects altering the concept of the saga still again. This time the element of the possibility of being the first IMAX feature film was introduced with the probability of having ADI and ILM respectively considered as part of the production.
On the morning of a proposed trip to ILM, for a visual effects meeting disaster once again struck the project, this time in face of a major earthquake in Southern California. A disaster that put Alien Landscapes on the back burner for nearly a decade. It seemed success for this property would never come.

NEXT TIME: Reflections continues with a new twist, and a resurrection that rekindled a new incarnation of the project that would breathe new life into the property, and in essence, an entirely new reality as the foundation of an adventure that would take another turn, and once again cross that threshold in a ground breaking direction ... The Living Machine Chronicles.

WELCOME TO THE CONVERGENCE – THE OFFICIAL BLOG OF AUTHOR GRANT FAUSEY

12/18/2018

Reposting a lot of interesting topics tonight, thought they were worth mentioning... had a great day. Friends in this evening, former students, now friends in this afternoon, a new screenwriting group started today, missing pet found and returned to a loving family who were overwhelmed, found an empty spot in my life I filled with hope. Made several new friends over the weekend, cleaned my house, found there’s space in my heart and my life to both grieve and love at the same time. Found truth in my thoughts and passed on what things affected me. But most important, I remembered I can make a difference. So thank you for loving me, believing in me and being a friend, all in the same moment. I’m excited to see where life will take me next. And what is to become of this journey. Finally, I’ve broken through that writer’s block that has so plagued me with stress over the past year. It’s good to clear the soul, love unconditionally, to try and brighten another’s moments of despair so they can breathe, and realize they’re not alone in the world. They have friends who love them. Yes, a truly interesting day to say the least. I wonder what new order of things will happen tomorrow.... I can only imagine.
Welcome to the convergence...
